After Stormy Friday, Weekend Cooldown

PANAMA CITY, FL. (WMBB-TV) — After turbulent weather passed through the passed through the Panhandle, leaving behind a swath of clouds, cooler weather is on the way thanks to a secondary cold front driven by high pressure.

We’re not fully in the clear as remnant clouds leave some light scattered showers. This energy will be nothing like the Friday AM storms. Expect overcast conditions until the drive home, where partly cloudy conditions move in.

The High Pressure driving this secondary cold front will allow winds to shift and come from the north. This will make a great set up for our Saturday and Mother’s Day forecast. Great weather expected for a majority of the weekend. The change expected early Monday where clouds and rain move back in. That system will be generating more rain through our Wednesday,
