History Class Brewery sponsors St. Andrew Bay Watch for ‘Pouring the Love’ event

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) – One local non-profit is chosen each month for the History Class Brewery’s ‘Pouring the Love’ event.

This month it’s the St. Andrew Bay Watch group.

The Pouring the Love event is a kickback fundraiser for the non-profit.

For every beer purchased 25 cents goes straight to St. Andrew Bay Watch.

Folks who stopped by got to play bingo and enter raffles to win baskets full of goodies.

The baskets included something for pets, movie tickets, massage coupons, bottles of alcohol, and more.

Volunteers from St. Andrew Bay Watch were overjoyed to be a part of the fundraiser.

“Without community support, we can’t do the stuff that we do. So, we depend here on our bay. So Panama City, our number one natural resource is St Andrews Bay. So, without good water quality, we don’t have tourism, we don’t have tourism dollars, and we don’t have small businesses. So it’s super important for you guys to come out and support us because without you guys, we wouldn’t be around,” said St. Andrew Bay Watch Director Christina Cantrell.

St. Andrew Bay Watch volunteers monitor water quality, work on shoreline restoration, and host hands-on classes for Bay County students.
