Letter Carriers’ Food Drive coming to the Panhandle on Saturday

PANAMA CITY, FL. (WMBB) – A food drive will be coming to the Panhandle this Saturday to help with natural disaster situations.

The Letter Carriers’ Food Drive is a national event that began back in 1933.

Residents are to put some non-perishable unopened food or canned goods out at their mailbox on Saturday morning. Local mail carriers or food drive volunteers will pick up any goods.

Help locally by donating goods to Letter Carriers’ Food Drive

Many pantries throughout the panhandle communities are depleted and this food drive will help make a big difference in the lives of those who need it.

Catholic Charities, the Salvation Army, and the Panama City Rescue Mission will benefit from the food drive.
