U.S Coast Guard responding to distress call South of Indian Pass

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) – U.S. Coast Guard Station Panama City received a distress report of a boat with five people on board.

According to a U.S Coast Guard Panama City Facebook post, a 20-plus foot Mako is taking on water approximately 10 nautical miles South of Indian Pass.

Officials said a 45′ Response Boat Medium is currently en route.

All mariners are requested to keep a sharp lookout, assist if possible, and report all sightings to the U.S. Coast Guard.
